I'd like to thank all those who sent me snippets of hedgehog information, without whom I would probably have never put the page up.
An excellent reference book on hedgehogs, copiously
illustrated is

	Les Stocker: The Complete Hedgehog
	Chatto & Windus, London, 1987
	ISBN 0-7011-3272-8

Highly recommended.

Wonderfull - "Though don't put the bloody thing back in the cage with my
prize long-haird geuinie-pigs, again - Ewatchku!!"

- is a phrase my dear (..alternative..;) Polish ex-wife once heard from me
- after she had come hope - like so many times - still semi-vertical but
_heavily_ intoxicated - and this time the company was more of a threat to
my pet than me or her at the breakfast table! ;)

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, "Spike" died last night from
complications. For future reference, the symtoms he had was not eating and
lost of use of his back legs. This lasted about three days. X-rays showed that
there were no breaks either in his back or legs.

Thanks again.

David.
